What do schools who go the extra mile think about Lunchbox Theatre’s environmental shows?
Listen to what teacher, Daleen Bohnen, and learner, Emily Smith, from MacLachlan High School in Joubertinia have to say about how encouraged they felt when they saw the Great Eden to Addo Adventure. Emily’s father, Roger Smith, is a leading light when it comes to environmental issues in the school. He initiates exciting outings which has taught them more about nature conservation, animals and the environment and how to conserve them. Grade 4 were recently at the Grootnat Plaas in the Langkloof and they removed 320 000 alien Acacia trees in the catchment area one day! Grade 5 will do the same by the time you read this. That will save a lot of water meant for agriculture! They found the E2A show encouraging.
Lunchbox Theatre wish this wonderful school well as they sing their school song which embodies their love of nature. If you are inspired hire us to show your organization the Great Eden to Addo Advetnrue. You can even sell tickets anduse the show as a fund raiser for your cause!
