Welcome to an exciting opportunity for young people to explore their creativity.

Stand a chance of winning great prizes by dressing up as your favourite TV or movie character and sending us a short video of your character saying 1 of their favourite lines.

Entry is free.

Rules:

    1. Entry forms must be completed before video is submitted: Bottom of this page.
    2. All entrants must be between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age.
    3. Only 1 entry per person
    4. Video must be a maximum length of 30 sec.
    5. Video must include at least 1 spoken line as the character of choice.
    6. Video must be sent via WhatsApp to 083 423 0083 and will be loaded onto Lunchbox Theatre Facebook page by the end of each workday (Mon to Friday)
    7. Include name and age of entrant in the WhatsApp.
    8. Entries may be in any language.
    9. Entries open from 20th July and close on 16th August 2021.
    10. Voting opens on 20th July and ends at 10am on 20th August.
    11. Lunchbox Theatre team will select a 1st and 2nd place winner for ages 6 – 12 and for ages 13 – 18. This will be judged on costume and character representation.
    12. Share the link we send you with family, friends and fans to vote for your video with likes, loves, cares and ha-has on Lunchbox Theatre’s page.
    13. The video with the most likes, loves, cares and ha-has on Lunchbox Theatre’s page will win the Audience Choice award

      • First prize – R1500 (for each age group)
      • Second Prize – R750 (for each age group)
      • Audience Choice Age 6 – 12: R1000 prize.
      • Audience Choice Age 13 – 18: R1000 prize.
    14. Votes from ‘fake’ accounts will lead to a disqualification of the entry.
    15. Winners will be notified on 20th August.
    16. Judges’ decisions are final.
    17. Nudity and explicit content will not be allowed. (Obviously )

    19. Parents and / or Guardians must give consent for Lunchbox Theatre to use the images and video on social media and online channels related to the competition.
