Welcome to the Lunchbox Theatre Family!
By supporting our Lunchbox Legends, you not only give them extra strength to climb those epic hills around Nieu Bethesda but you also give extra strength to 1000’s of kids from rural and underprivileged communities. That strength comes from the empowerment, upliftment, and education that they will receive from the live theatre shows and dance and drama workshops that form part of Lunchbox Theatre’s work.
Our focus is on the poorer communities and so all of our services are provided free of charge to our beneficiaries. We have reached over 190,000 kids across the country in 14 years. This is only made possible by the support of people like you! And that makes your impact directly responsible for improving the lives of these children, adding value to their lives and their communities.

Do you have an activity or challenge that you will be participating in over the next few months? If so, you can further support our Education-Through-Performance Programs by Becoming a Lunchbox Legend. You choose the challenge: anything from quilt knitting from the comfort of your home to a marathon that you have been training for… you don’t have to ride a bike!! We will assist you with setting up a profile and share the news of your challenge with our wonderful followers. Be a Legend.
On the Road Again! Yay!
It’s been an exciting week as the Lunchbox Team headed out on tour to the Eastern Cape to perform our new show ‘DANCE WITH ME‘ at various schools in Jeffrey’s Bay, Humansdorp and St. Francis Bay. Do you like our new hoodies! Available to order online soon! See all Lunchbox Theatre Shows
