What are the 2 most valued words for a supporter to hear on Mandela Day?

Take a look at how Lunchbox Theatre said ‘thank you’ to a wonderful newspaper who has given them superb support for 11 years!

In the Age of Digital Communication, do people still enjoy a quality, newspaper filled with positive, local news? “Yes!” say over 30 000 people every week!  So, what does this have to do with Mandela Day?

There is a strong possibility that if you are somewhere in the Garden Route of South Africa on a Wednesday you will spot someone reading a copy of The CXPress, which has been mesmerising readers since 1998.

Lunchbox Theatre staff have read CXPress with woops of delight on many occasions especially when we experience the thrill of being featured as ‘ The News!’ because we are making the world a better place by making kids wiser through live theatre.

So, for Mandela Day 2019, Lunchbox Theatre took 67 minutes to make a video called, “CXPress is the paper, we love being the news!”.

Our heartfelt thanks go to CXPress for how they promote the positive legacy of Nelson Mandela’s sentiments in the Garden Route and their support of our successes over the past 11 years, together.

Thank you for taking a look at our fun video.  You can also read CXPress online and we trust we will feature again soon.  Otherwise, you can catch our news on Lunchbox Theatre, food for thought.

Well done to CXPress team, and especially our longstanding friends, Lezanne and Watty Watson, Esther de Villiers, Sandi Smith, and Linda Ausker!!  We are very proud of you!
